Clinical research trials provide an opportunity to learn more about new medication and treatment, and to improve the standard of medical care. We are actively involved in several research studies to investigate new medications (not marketed), as well as to study current medications for new purposes.

All study protocols initiated by our practice are FDA approved and follow very strict criteria. Each study protocol is presented and approved by two separate groups of professionals to ensure your safety. The first group is comprised strictly of Laureate physicians; the second group is an independent Institutional Review Board (IRB), made up of both medical and non-medical professionals.

We keep all personal information we receive strictly confidential, in accordance with current HIPAA guidelines. If you are invited to participate in a study and meet the study criteria, all of your study-related medical expenses, including medication, will be provided at no cost to you. In many studies, participants will be compensated for their time and travel.

Laureate Clinical Research Group is creating a database of patients who may be interested in participating in a clinical trial. If you are interested in being contacted regarding an ongoing or future study conducted by LCRG, please print and complete the form and either fax or mail it to us. If you prefer, you may call us at the number listed below, and we will place your name in our database for potential study participants. If an appropriate study becomes available, you may be called and given the opportunity to participate in a trial.
