The most gratifying thing about my job is the ability to share the entire rehabilitation journey with the patients. On day one, they are struggling to perform an activity, and by the end of their time in therapy they are feeling better and able to move/function at a significantly higher level than before.
Scott is passionate about injury prevention and rehabilitation for people of all ages and fitness levels. Scott’s clinical interests include adult and pediatric orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, arthritis, total joint replacement, and osteoporosis rehabilitation, injury screening/prevention, health promotion, and wellness. He holds several advanced certifications including: TPI Medical III Certified - the highest certification for golf rehabilitation and performance, SFMA II Certified - advanced credentials in the treatment of sports related movement dysfunction, Sports Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine’s Performance Enhancement Specialist program and Certified “Rock Doc” - Functional Movement Taping. In his spare time, Scott is active in Atlanta’s theatre community and is a technical theatre consultant for several high schools’ theatre companies. He also enjoys traveling and long, hikes with his dog.
