Tami McCoy is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist who sees patients in Laureate Medical Group’s Holly Springs location. She received her undergraduate degree at Kennesaw State University and attended the University of North Georgia where she received her Masters in Nursing Education and a Post Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and has extensive experience in diabetes education. She has practiced in both adult and pediatric endocrinology. Ms. McCoy believes that education is an integral part in providing care. She enjoys hiking, reading, and sending time with her children and grandchildren.
