Dr. David Heaner is an internal medicine physician who joined Laureate Medical Group in 2024. After training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Dr. Heaner returned to his hometown of Atlanta to serve the local community. With a passion for clinical medicine, he cares for his patients by first knowing them as an individual, and then partnering with them in treatment of acute illness, management of chronic disease, and preventive care. Stemming from a heart for service, he couples compassion with medical treatment for anyone who steps into his clinic. In his free time, Dr. Heaner enjoys candle-making, coffee roasting, woodcraft and kayaking.
