For our patients' convenience, each location offers a variety of diagnostic tests on-site. If your physician orders any of the tests listed below, explanation and instructions will be provided prior to the test.
EKG: Measures the heart’s electrical activity
Stress Test: Allows the physician to see how your heart performs during physical activity
Stress Echo: Allows the physician to compare the performance of your heart at rest to your heart after physical activity
Stress Thallium: Provides a view of the blood flow into the heart muscle, both at rest and during activity
Echocardiogram: Uses sound waves to produce images of your heart
Holter Monitor: Used to detect abnormalities of heart rate and rhythm
Bone Density Test: Used to help determine if bones are fragile and more likely to break
Thyroid Ultrasound: Provides a real-time view of the thyroid gland to check the structure and blood flow; also used to check for changes in existing thyroid nodules
PFT (Pulmonary Function Test): Helps detect abnormalities of lung function
Carotid Ultrasound: Used to detect risk factors for a stroke
EMG: Used to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them
Please allow at least five (5) business days before you call our office to check on your test results. If you do not hear from us within five (5) days, please call the office where you were seen and ask for the nurse.
If instructed by your physician, you may access your test results through the PhoneTree test result hotline: 404-898-1024. The hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply follow the prompts for your results.
